POKHARA: Nepal Archery Association picked up 16 archers for the 13th South Asian Games to be held in Kathmandu and Pokhara from December 1-10.

In Recurve event, Ashim Sherchan, Roshan Nagarkoti, Dambar Bahadur Thapa and Tilak Pun Magar made the cut in men’s section, while Mitra Rai, Gyanu Awale, Bishnu Maya Limbu and Aisha Tamang earned qualification in women’s event.

Likewise, Ramesh Bhattachan, Sanatan Malla, Yogendra Sherchan and Min Prasad Gauchan sealed berths in Compound Men event, while Parsada Acharya, Monica Rana, Rashmi Darlami and Manju Bajgai were picked up for women’s section.

The players were picked up from the three-day selection tournament held in Pokhara.
