A total of 12 teams — five A Division clubs, five district-based teams including the hosts and one each from India and Cameroon — will take part in the tournament starting on January 8.

The teams have been divided into two groups and the final schedule will be released in due course, informed the organisers at a press meet today.

“We have reached towards the final phase of preparation,” said Farwest Sporting Club President Suresh Hamal. “We have formed various sub-committees to ensure smooth running of the tournament and all the members involved have done laudable jobs. Now, we just need to complete the preparation works at the Dhangadhi Stadium pitch,” he added.

The organisers also unveiled the jerseys of home team at the press meet.

The A division outfits confirmed for the tournament included Signature Manang Marshyangdi Club, Ruslan Three Star Club, Valley Chyasal Youth Club, Nepal Police Club and Nepal APF Club. Others in the fray are Gorkha Boys Sports Club of Rupandehi, Kakarvitta Training Centre of Jhapa and Morang Sports Club along with Delhi FC of India and Dauphins Team Family Club of Cameroon.
