Former world No 1 made it 15 major wins in 2019, 11 years after winning his previous one and uniquely for him, coming from off the pace at the start of the final round

“We did it.” These words yelled by Tiger Woods towards his caddie, Joe LaCava, as the pair embraced in celebration of Masters success, form part of 2019’s iconic sporting moments. Woods may not seem one for looking back but he has now revealed that he has finally watched a rerun of that Augusta triumph in the company of the same man, with fear of failure a key recollection in mid-championship.

“I sat down and watched it with Joe,” said Woods. “He came down [to Florida] to do a TV spot then he and I just sat there, had a few beers and watched it.
