Bodybuilding national champion Dahal off to UAE

BHADRAPUR: The national bodybuilding champion, Ram Dahal, has left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take part in the World Bodybuilding Championship to be held in Dubai, UAE on November 7-10.

The Birtamod Chamber of Commerce and Industry saw him off amidst a programme here today and wished him success in the competition.

Bodybuilders from 90 countries of the world including Nepal are competing in the championship. Two of the seven members in the Nepali squad going to Dubai for the championship are bodybuilders and participate in the competition.

“I am going to Dubai with the goal of winning a gold medal for the country,” Dahal said in the programme. Dahal is competing in the 60-Kg weight group.

According to him, Marich Man Lama of Kathmandu is competing in the 70-KG weight category. A resident of Birtamod-4 of Jhapa district, Dahal is running fitness centre called Body Garage in Birtamod.
