KATHMANDU: Trijyoti and Innovative won the basketball titles under the 26th SML Isuzu Gyan Carnival here on Sunday.
Trijyoti beat Learning Realm International 65-44 in the boy’s section final of the inter-school tournament. Innovative defeated Malpi 34-30 in the girls’ section final.
Pyakurel and Thapa were later named the Most Valuable Players in their respective categories.
In netball final, Malpi outplayed Reliance Public School 32-26. Ojaswi Niraula of Reliance was named the best player of the tournament, while Malpi duo Kritagya Gurung and Kritika Sainju bagged the best defender and highest scorer awards respectively.
In other events, Ace and Saipal won 3X3 basketball titles, while Little Angels’ lifted football trophy.
