KATHMANDU: Signature Manang Marshyangdi Club defeated Kolkata Customs 4-2 and advanced to the semi-finals of the Governor’s Gold Cup Football Tournament in Sikkim on Tuesday.
Skipper Sujal Shreshta and Bimal Rana scored two goals each for the ‘A’ division outfit of Nepal.
MMC, who were directly drawn in quarter-finals, will play against another Kolkata-based team, George Telegraph for a place in the final of November 1.
Another Nepali side Nepal APF Club made an early exit from the tournament losing their first round match.
