KATHMANDU: President of Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Association Rajesh Babu Shrestha announced cash reward of Rs 150,000 to Rajani Shrestha, who bagged two medals in the 53rd Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship in Batam, Indonesia on Monday.
Rajani Shrestha finished second in the women’s 55kg weight category and she claimed bronze medal in the above-30yrs section in her maiden appearance in the Asian championship.
President Shrestha — who was nominated vice-president of the Asian body on Sunday — announced the reward on his own to the bodybuilder in honour of her historic achievement.
