Nepali delegation to leave for Delhi today

KATHMANDU: A committee formed by the government to hold bilateral talks with India for a comprehensive review of the Nepal-India Trade Treaty is scheduled to leave for New Delhi on Wednesday to hold discussions with the designated officials of the government of India.

The Nepali delegation led by Ravi Shanker Sainju, joint secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, and comprising Joint Secretaries Bhrigu Dhungana from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Phadindra Acharya from Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Joint Secretary from Ministry of Finance Toyam Raya will hold discussions with the Indian authorities in the Indian capital city on August 9 and 10.

This is the first round of meeting, which aims a comprehensive review of Nepal-India Trade Treaty.
