KATHMANDU: Play for Deprived Children (PDCN) and Kangaroo Education Foundation Pvt Ltd have joined hands for the upcoming Nepal Basketball League.

Kangaroo Education has been selected the educational partner for the basketball tournament. PDCN, the organisers, signed an agreement with Kangaroo Education to this effect on Friday.

Namit Bahadur Thapa of PDCN and Chief Executive Officer of Kangaroo Education, Mahesh Babu Timalsina signed the memorandum of understanding.

As per the agreement, Kangaroo Education will be responsible for sponsoring the cash prize, and supporting PDCN in keeping records of the tournament.

Expected to be the biggest basketball tournament in the country, the event will commence on April 20 in the capital city and will see the participation of eight teams.

Details of the tournament would be made public soon.
