KATHMANDU: Sanskriti International School won the senior boys’ title of the 20th Wilson Hoops Inter-school Basketball Tournament here on Saturday.
Sanskriti defeated HIMS 64-32 in final. Pratik Pradhan of Sanskriti was named the Most Valuable Player.
Sanskriti failed to make it a double as their girls’ team faced a 24-19 defeat at the hands of Trungram International Academy. Arpita Gurung of TIA was declared the MVP.
Likewise, SEB beat Wilson 29-12 in junior boys’ section final and Kripal Maharjan of the winning team was named the MVP.
Tereasa Academy won the staff section title beating Green Lawns. A total of 43 schools took part in the tournament organised by Wilson Academy.
Nagarjun Municipality Mayor Mohan Bahadur Basnet handed over the prizes to the winners.
