KATHMANDU: Active Sports Complex is organising an interbank futsal tournament at Active Sports Complex, Dholahiti, Patan on July 27 and August 3.
Sponsored by Morang Auto Works, 20 banks, divided into four groups of five, will be competing in the event. The group stage matches will take place on July 27 while the knock out stage matches will be held on August 3.
The winning team will be rewarded a cash prize of Rs 100,000 and the runners up will win a prize of Rs 50,000. The best player and the highest goal scorer will be awarded a swimming membership at Active Sports Complex for 2019 each.
Active Sports Complex feel that this event would contribute as a first step towards long term futsal development in Nepal.
