KATHMANDU: NIBL Friends Club came from behind to draw 3-3 against Grandmaster Jawalakhel Youth Club during their Pulsar Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League at ANFA Complex ground, in Satdobato of Lalitpur, on Wednesday.

Friends Club created many goal-scoring chances but their finishing led them down to secure all three points.  FC’s Bikash Lama won the man of the match award.

After going down to 3-1, FC turned the game on its head and levelled the score in the second half to share points between the two Lalitpur-based teams.

In another game of the day, Himalayan Sherpa Club defeated Machhindra Club 2-0 and climbed to the third position with 10 points. Ashish Gurung and Karna Limbu scored headers on the 21st minute and 89th-minute respectively.

HSC Ulrich Siewe was awarded man of the match for his scintillating performance and bagged a cash purse of Rs 10,000.

Meanwhile, MMC top the 14-team table with 12 points from four matches followed by TAC on 10 points with a better goal difference to HSC.
