SINDHUPALCHOWK: Gorkha Boys Club of Rupandehi defeated NIBL Friends Club 3-0 on penalties to enter the semi-finals of the Nepal Ice fourth Sindhu Cup Football Tournament here on Sunday.
The match was decided in tie-breaker after both the teams failed to score in regulation period.
Gorkha Boys goalkeeper Dilip Chhetry, who saved a penalty from Fofana and also converted from the spot, was named the man of the match and he earned Rs 5,000.
Rupesh KC and Uttam Gurung also converted penalties for Gorkha Boys.
On Monday, Nepal APF Club will take on Jiri Sports Club in the fourth and final quarter-final match.
