Nepal lost the final game against the Netherlands

When the batting line failed again, the Netherlands has defeated Nepal with 45 runs. Nepal stood 8th on the World Cup qualifier tournament.

There was a sports war for reputation for Nepal to stand on the 7th place, however Nepal already have got one-day recognition.

Nepal scored 144 runs by losing all wickets in 44.4 overs, the Netherlands has given the target of 190 runs.

Nepal’s start was not good. Opener Gyanendra Malla got out only in 4 runs, while the team scored was only 11 runs. After opting 22 runs, another opener Anil Kumar Sah also got out on 8 runs.

Captain Paras Khadka scored 22 runs as the third wicket, while Nepal made 51 runs. After adding 9 runs, Arif Shaikh 5 while Rohit Kumar Poudel could not open the account. Deependra Singh Aire returned to Pavilion in 25 runs. Nepal’s score was only 76 runs while Shakti Gauchan was out as seventh wicket.

Somal Kami and Karan KC shared 31 runs for the seventh wicket. However, Karan got 13 runs. Sompal Kami, who was trying to play fine innings, returned to the Pavilion by adding 36 runs as the ninth wicket.

The Netherlands, who chose to bat at the toss, made 189 runs loosing 9 wickets in all 50 overs. Even they did not had a good start and added 87 runs to 5 wickets, but Batsman later played well.

Sompal Kami from Nepal took 4 wickets, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi and Sandeep Lamichhane scored 2-2 wickets. Baller Shakti Gauchan, who has been given the first time in the tournament, has recorded 1 wicket in his name.

Today’s sporting reputation is only for the Nepalese one-day recognition. Although this is not a one-day game. One -day international recognition will be received by Nepal after the World Cup qualification completion.
