Nepal Hockey AssociationKATHMANDU: Four Nepali hockey players are all set to go to Pakistan for training. Roman Rana, Sagar Acharya, Rajendra Karki and Manoj Chaudhary will undergo training with Heroes Club of Pakistan and also take part in different tournaments, informed Nepal Hockey Association at a press meet on Thursday.

The players had earlier participated in the FIH World Open Series. Likewise, NHA is organising the Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial National Hockey Tournament from February 9-16 in Jhapa.

A total of 10 teams — one each from three departmental sides and seven provinces — will take part in the tournament.

After the event in Jhapa, the NHA will also organise the Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial National Women’s Hockey Tournament in Biratnagar.
