Wushu adds two more gold for Nepal

KATHMANDU: Nepal has started the second day of the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) with two gold medals, on Tuesday, adding the gold tally to 17.

Nepal’s Bijay Sinjali won the gold by defeating five other competitors in the Men’s Individual Category of Taolu in Changquan discipline of Wushu.

Sinjali received 9.48 points while Bangladeshi player Mohamad Omar 9.34 and Indian player received 9.16. Sinjali is the silver medal winner in 12th SA Games.

Similarly, Susmita Tamang also won the gold in Women’s Individual Category of Taolu in Changquan discipline of  Wushu. Tamang received 9.44 points, leaving behind Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan players, who received 8.85 and 7.35 points respectively.
