TANAHUN: All Star Youth Club of Aanbu Khaireni won the title of the Seven-a-side Football Tournament organised by Dobhan Youth Club to mark its 20th anniversary, at the BP Banbatika on Saturday. All Star defeated Byas Youth Club 1-0 in the final.
Bishwo Adhikari scored the solitary goal of the match. Along with the title, All Star received Rs 115,555, while runners-up Byas got Rs 55,555.
Adhikari was declared the best player of the tournament, while his All Star teammate Akash Rana Bhat was named the best goalkeeper. Niraj Gurung of Byas was the highest scorer. A total of 39 teams took part in the tournament. Byas Municipality Mayor Baikuntha Neupane handed over the prizes to the winners.
