PALLEKELE: England were all out for 285 in their first innings on the opening day of the second test against Sri Lanka in Pallekele on Wednesday.

Sam Curran (64) and Jos Buttler (63) struck half-centuries for the tourists, while Dilruwan Perera was the pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers, claiming 4-61.

England are 1-0 up in the three-test series which ends with the final match in Colombo from Nov. 23.
