KATHMANDU: Himalayan White House College and Ojashwy College registered double victories on the opening day of the Texas Inter-college Indoor Cricket Championship here on Wednesday.
White House defeated Nepal Megha College ‘A’ by six wickets in the first match and returned to beat KCM College by 139 runs. Likewise, Ojashwy outplayed Texas College by 109 runs before beating Bramhashmi ‘B’ by seven wickets.
In other matches, Nepal Megha College ‘A’ defeated KCM by 22 runs, while Bramhashmi ‘B’ beat Texas College by 53 runs.
A total of 24 teams are taking part in the tournament organised by RG Event Company.
